Welcome to our site; please read some of the startling facts and have a serious thought as to what you use next as a golf tee.     We reckon “Enough is enough” We the youth of Australia and future golfing professionals are joining forces and taking a firm stance in placing a total ban on the use of wooden and plastic tees; these broken tee fragments scattered all over our pristine courses are not only unsightly but they have proven to be nothing short of an environmental disaster. Time has come where some serious changes need to be made in this industry as to what is being used as a tee; after all it’s only there to suspend a ball up from the ground, has nothing to do with your playing abilities Please consider this carefully: We have the senseless destruction of over 500,000 valuable trees every year used to make golf tees; yes 500,000 “a huge chunk of forest in any ones language” and what happens to the wildlife that once lived there??? What was once this!   Is now this!   Then we have the fancy coloured Plastic Tee brigade in their millions: how much fuel is used to make them? Where do plastic tee fragments go? Back into the soil and waterways to remain there for ever.  Combine both wood and plastic and you have a staggering amount of around 10,000 tons of tee fragments buried in the soil polluting our planet each year: then we wonder why we have global warming problems????
